Description: Boundaries were developed using municipal sensitive ecosystems inventory data, forest stands data produced by Diamond Head Consulting for the city's urban forest strategy, LiDAR-derived terrain models, and orthophoto interpretation. Field assessments conducted in May 2025 by qualified environmental professionals from Diamond Head Consulting to verify ecosystem boundaries, confirmed habitat features, and refined polygon extents to reflect current on-the-ground conditions. A 10 m buffer was applied to the boundaries of these identified sensitive ecosystems.
